What has happened to the Chilean Catholic Church in recent times can only be described as an "annus horribilis."
First came the revelations about Father Fernando Karadima, the influential priest one of the most fashionable churches, the Church of Santiago del Bosque, which, as confirmed by the Vatican itself in a crushing sentence, abused at a still undetermined number of young people and teenagers who chose to toe, with the expertise and a talent scout from the Elite modeling agency.
