One day in July 1974 for the first time I climbed the stairs of the building you see in the picture: the Collection of the Office CUTCSA N ª 2, in Luis Alberto de Herrera and Gualeguay. Except years from 1978 to 1986, the rest of my life was spent going up and down those stairs six days a week. Today that building and the entire plant José Añón is being demolished to build in that place a large shopping center. Yesterday I was there
watching the demolition and I realized that there was but the slightest hint of nostalgia for the disappearance of all those buildings where people work involved in my working life and the led.
Nothing, nothing, sorry but even the slightest affection for these buildings or most of the people that they worked.
is that I have very, very few fond memories of that building and the company which I still serve for at least three years.
could have been so different! Must be nice to work in a place which one feel proud. Must be nice to work in a place where one I want. I did not have that luck, CUTCSA never meant for their workers. A pity.
